I just want to be wonderful;I think that would be nice. Sometimes I wish that I could stay a child forever, oblivious to the problems of the world. But for now I'll just have to play make believe. My favourite days are Saturdays, because you don't have school that day, and you don't have school the next day. So you get to sleep in as long as you want, and then stay awake as long as you want. I like to spend my Saturdays with someone who can make me laugh until my belly aches, someone who will huddle under the doona with me on a rainy morning. Days like that make me feel like time can go as slowly as you want it to. Days like that make me feel like a little kid again, when you feel a joy so warm it's as if you've swallowed the sun whole. I'm a quiet person. I don't so much as raise my voice when I'm angry. I choose the safe way for everything. I'm a safe person, to scared to stray outside the lines.

Friends Forever

You girls make my world go round. Not a day goes by where a smile does not pass across my face because of something you have said or done. Jacqui you're always laughing, and telling silly stories. You make the atmosphere around you so joyful and you manage to make everyone come out of their shell. Mel, you are so quiet, but sometimes your voice escapes in a loud burst of stupidity so quickly you don't even realise you were supposed to hold it in. You make me laugh so much with all the silly things you do. The night before biology camp was one of the best nights ever. We were so stupid, tip toeing around the house acting like little children. Laughing till our bellies ached, laughing at each other's expense. Self timer success, and unsuccessful launches onto the bed. These are memories that will never fade. We stayed up late whispering secrets we will never share with anyone else, secrets that bind us together, making our friendship stronger than ever.

The time of my life, really. Such a beautiful country, with beautiful people. I will never forget the dodgy hotel and having to walk everywhere we went in paris. Buying alcohol from monoprix and running into random australians in the elevator. Paris is the most amazing city I have ever seen. Having to huddle so close together we looked like siamese triplets in order to keep warm was made so worth it when we saw the things we saw. Hannah and Sophie, I love youuuu. Oyonnax was such a small town but holds so many of the nicest people in the world. Getting drunk with french companions is the best way to spend your easter holidays, no doubt about it. Laurene and Aimiee and Margaux are so gorgeous, i will never forget their faces as long as i live. I will never forget the way they looked after us so well. Leaving them was so sad. I hope to see them again soooooooon. (L)

One of the funniest days ever. We all looked like dags, running around with water balloons cradled in our t-shirts scheming to attack unsuspecting teachers. Probably the loudest, gumbiest group there, but we still made it across the finish line, grinning with joy and dripping with the remains of our mid race water fight. We have the best fun ever.
